We’re currently looking for Senior Software Engineer who is excited about building internally-facing platforms and services that improve developer productivity, efficiency, and engineering excellence. You are a self-starter who can develop high-quality code as well as collaborate with other parts of the team, including product, QA, etc. to deliver solid products. You will help drive solutions for our customers by bringing together multiple, distributed, cross-functional teams.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering,
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java 8+ and Spring Boot, with strong skills in XML and JSON processing.
Proficient in PostgreSQL/Oracle, microservices design, and CI/CD pipelines for scalable deployments.
Experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
knowledge of Linux, Shell scripting, and logging/monitoring tools such as ELK, Graylog, Datadog, or SignalFx.
Familiarity with any modern UI framework for integration and basic interface support.
It would be great if you also have
Netflix OSS components : Eureka, Zuul, Ribbon, Hystrix
Anyone API gateway frameworks like Kong, Appigee, etc
Serverless Programming
Experience in NoSQL database such as Cassandra etc
Experience in Apache Kafka or any Messaging Services
Basic knowledge of UI and UX frameworks
What will you be doing in this role
Collaborate with other parts of the technology team, including product, QA, marketing, etc. to deliver a solid product.
Conduct code review of projects as presented by your manager, providing feedback.
Review technical requirements provided by the business for key projects, in order to take concepts from design to delivery.
Provide solid software/component-level designs supporting technical requirements.
Help drive projects through the full development life-cycle when required, liaising with team leads & external vendors across the business as appropriate.
Ensure that all tasks undertaken are completed to a quality standard. This includes delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
Ensure yourself and others follow departmental workflow processes, work in a transparent manner, check-in code promptly, report development progress in workflow tracking tools.
