Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer
In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Backend Development
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Database, and Container technologies.
- Experience with messaging systems like KAFKA.
- Microservices architecture design and implementation.
- Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, MemoryCache etc.)
- Front-End Development
- Experience with Microfrontend architecture.
- Proficiency in Angular or React with TypeScript.
- Responsive UI development, component-based architecture.
- Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Material UI, Angular Material etc.)
- Experience with Single Page Application (SPA) patterns and performance optimization
- Design And Architecture
- Experience in designing scalable and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, CQRS, and domain-driven design.
- Knowledge of API gateway patterns, circuit breakers, service discovery.
- Understanding of system resiliency, performance tuning, and high-availability patterns.
- Cloud, DevOps & Tools
- Experience with Azure cloud platform (preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness etc.)
- Automated build and release processes .
- Strong experience using GitHub based source control.
- GEN AI Tools
- Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot / AI-assisted development tools
- Ability to use AI tools for Code generation and refactoring
- Unit test generation
- Debugging and documentation
- Understanding of secure and responsible AI usage within enterprise standards
- Quality, Testing & Security - Experience with
- Unit testing and integration testing
- API validation Knowledge of Secure coding practices
- Application security fundamentals
- Exposure to Logging, monitoring, and diagnostics tools
- Professional Skills
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to own components/modules independently
- Proven track record of delivering in SOW-driven engagements, meeting SLAs, and deadlines.
