Senior Software Engineer - Java, Angular - Bangalore

Job Description:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will collaborate within and across squads to produce high-quality, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code. You will participate in, own and lead all phases of the development process, from conception to deployment as a member of an agile, cross-functional team. You will demonstrate leadership and maintain a continuous technology progressive mentality.

The Purpose of Your Role

A Full Stack Engineer with expertise and experience in designing and developing applications including new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and production support. This will involve developing microservices using full stack engineering for Software Engineering Practice.

· Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology field.

· 5+ years’ experience, preferable within financial services and/or a shared service model

· Strong attention to detail & analytical skills.

· API development and good understanding of technologies like java, angular and microservices development

· You have expertise in analyzing data and dealing with data using SQL queries.

· You enjoy working on different technologies to solve business problems.

· You are ready to adapt and learn new skills.

· You can readily adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

· You enjoy learning new technologies, data analysis, identifying data patterns and trends.

· You can do Analysis, Design, Estimation and Development of the database components.

· You have Strong communication skills to manage various stakeholders in India as well as in remote locations (US and Ireland)

· You know Build Technologies (Maven/Gradle)

· You know Version Control System (Git/SVN)

· You know Agile methodologies or iterative development processes.

· Familiarity with Agile standard methodologies within the Scrum context.

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role

· You have knowledge in ETL and Snaplogic

· You have understanding/experience in building and supporting Analytics use cases.

· You have worked on Docker containers, Kubernetes [ preferable AKS]

· DevOps and Cloud Computing (Azure) exposure

· Knowledge of building cloud native applications. Deploying and debugging cloud applications.
