As a Software Engineer in the Product Development division, your work will play a vital role in improving the products and services we offer to our clients. This opportunity will allow you to exercise your passion for finance and technology. You will learn to leverage your financial knowledge and software engineering skills to work with various derivatives, while dealing with cutting-edge and cloud-native technologies.
What you will be responsible for:
You will be a member of a self-organized scrum team consisting of software engineers who collaborate closely with business experts. The team is responsible for developing and supporting a set of enterprise products within Derivatives Life Cycle. You are expected to interact with colleagues from Ukraine, Poland, Denmark, Austria, and Germany. After a comprehensive onboarding program, we expect you to:

Design, develop, and test new features to support the existing product.

Create test cases and automated tests to cover the features’ acceptance criteria (E2E, API, UT).

Closely communicate and collaborate with Team, Product Owner, Technical Leads during feature analysis, refinement, development and implementation.

Analyze functional and non-functional requirements during feature refinements.

Support the product.
-
Prepare and conduct Sprint review/DEMO sessions.

Initiate technical and process enhancements in the team.

Be proactive in improving automation, tools, frameworks, etc.

Work as a full stack developer, both front-end and back-end (SOA)
What we value:

A M.Sc. in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar field
-
Good knowledge and experience (3+ years) in C# and .NET, knowledge of JS/TS is a plus
-
Knowledge and experience in financial domain, fintech, in particular derivatives (options, futures, swaps, etc.)

Experience in both manual and automated testing, with the ability to design and implement comprehensive test strategies and all level tests for software applications (E2E, API, UT).

Experience with Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructures

Curiosity and readiness to learn in-house tools and frameworks, including programming language APL

Understanding and adherence to XP practices (TDD, pair-programming etc.)

Deep understanding and experience of Software Design Principles

Experience with CQS, DDD, SOA design patterns

Deep knowledge of relational DB (MS-SQL, Oracale, etc). Document DB, KeyValue stores, Temeseries-DB is a plus.

Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (git, TeamCity, etc.)

Readiness to support existing system (legacy)

Good English skills (upper intermediate and higher), written as well as spoken, as English is our corporate language

Ability and willingness to apply broad knowledge in different areas and constantly learn new things, such as specific business domain knowledge or new technologies

(Preferably) Experience as a member of Scrum team
