Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior-level technical leadership as a hands-on (player/coach) Lead Software Engineer, owning end-to-end delivery across the product lifecycle including architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and long-term maintainability
  • Lead and influence technical design decisions to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available systems while balancing functional and non-functional requirements
  • Act as a hands-on individual contributor, directly responsible for designing, developing, and delivering complex features, services, and platforms
  • Write high-quality, well-tested, production-ready code and continuously raise the engineering bar through rigorous code reviews and enforcement of best practices
  • Take ownership of complex problem solving, performance optimization, reliability improvements, and remediation of critical production issues
  • Partner closely with Product, Architecture, QA, Security, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into well-defined, estimable technical solutions
  • Actively participate in Agile planning and execution, driving improvements in delivery predictability, quality, and time-to-value
  • Mentor and coach engineers through hands-on technical guidance, design reviews, pair programming, and code-level feedback to elevate overall technical maturity
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, architectural risks, and cross-team dependencies
  • Drive technical excellence initiatives such as reducing technical debt, improving system resilience, and strengthening observability and operational readiness
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt modern tools, frameworks, automation, and AI-assisted engineering practices to improve developer productivity, reliability, and scalability
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a solid focus on modern web application development
  • Solid experience with relational database management systems and advanced SQL, including schema design, indexing strategies, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Experience building, deploying, and operating applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; ability to design cloud-native architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform proficiency required for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of big data or data pipeline development (batch or streaming) is a strong added advantage
  • Solid understanding of application security, scalability, observability, and production readiness best practices
  • Solid understanding of domain-driven design (DDD) and domain modelling techniques to translate business problems into robust technical solutions
  • Proven expertise in .NET / C#-based application development; experience designing and building scalable, production-grade web services and APIs
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a hands-on individual contributor while leading technical outcomes, influencing architecture and mentoring other engineers
  • Proven excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex systems, technical trade-offs, and ambiguous requirements
  • Proven solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional stakeholders across geographies

Skills Required
