Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high quality software solutions across front end, back end, and cloud native components
- Own complex features and services end to end, from technical design and implementation through production support and optimization
- Build and integrate AI/ML enabled capabilities into applications and cloud native platforms, including secure access to models, data pipelines, and inference endpoints through well designed APIs
- Develop and operate cloud native and platform services that support reliability, scalability, security, and efficient delivery
- Collaborate with product, UX, architecture, and cross functional teams to translate business and user needs into effective technical solutions
- Apply solid software engineering practices, including code quality, automated testing, security, performance, observability, and operational excellence
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed systems, including production incidents and performance bottlenecks
- Review designs and code, providing guidance to ensure adherence to standards, patterns, and best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Evaluate and adopt new technologies, tools, and AI approaches to improve solution quality, developer productivity, and business outcomes
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge in the following:
- Frontend: Angular (TypeScript), HTML5, CSS3, Web Components, RxJS)
- Backend: Node.js (TypeScript), modular architecture, streaming I/O, event driven patterns
- Communication: Experience with WebSockets, pub/sub, and message queues
- Data heavy UI: Large tables with AG Grid and charting with Highcharts (or similar)
- Testing: Cypress + Cucumber (BDD), unit tests (Node.js native), coverage, mocks
- Auth & Security: OAuth/JWT flows, secure practices, input validation, schema enforcement, OWASP best practices
- Cloud & Delivery: Experience on Azure/AWS/GCP; CI/CD pipelines, feature flags, CDN/asset strategy
- Tooling & OS: Linux proficiency; Visual Studio Code; strong debugging (DevTools, sourcemaps)
- Performance: Bundle optimization, lazy loading
- Ways of Working: Agile/Scrum, clear communication, PR reviews, documentation
