We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is both a hands-on coder and a technical leader. You'll design and implement domain-driven architectures, build scalable microservices, and deliver secure, cloud-native solutions on Azure. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong design skills, and the ability to mentor teams while driving engineering excellence across CI/CD, Terraform, and modern development practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Architect and implement domain-driven solutions: Define bounded contexts, aggregates, and integration patterns
  • Develop high-quality services: Build Java (Java 17+) / Spring Boot microservices with clean APIs and robust testing
  • Cloud engineering: Deploy and optimize workloads on Azure (AKS, App Service, Functions, Event Hubs, Service Bus, Key Vault)
  • Infrastructure as Code: Author Terraform modules and manage multi-environment deployments
  • CI/CD leadership: Implement secure pipelines with automated testing, artifact integrity, and progressive delivery
  • Security and compliance: Apply zero-trust principles, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
  • Data and messaging: Design schemas and event-driven flows with Kafka/Event Hubs ensuring reliability and observability
  • Mentorship and collaboration: Guide engineers through design reviews, code quality improvements, and best practices
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in architecture or technical leadership roles
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and domain-driven design
  • Solid understanding of security, compliance, and performance optimization
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and observability practices
  • Comfortable coding daily and troubleshooting complex production issues

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare payment systems and HIPAA/PHI compliance
  • Experience or knowledge in multi-region architecture, disaster recovery, and chaos engineering
  • Experience or knowledge in FinOps and cost optimization strategies
  • Experience or knowledge in contributions to open source or technical community

Ways of Working
  • Agile delivery with iterative releases and continuous feedback
  • Operational mindset with on-call participation and postmortem culture
  • Champion simplicity, scalability, and measurable outcomes
