Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer I, you are responsible for developing high-quality applications and writing code daily. This includes heavy collaboration with product managers, architects, and other software engineers to build best-in-class software using modern technologies and an agile development process.
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality features.
- Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services. Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code while following best practices.
- Debug and resolve issues related to performance, usability, and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives).
- 3–7 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Hands-on experience with React Native and strong understanding of its ecosystem.
- Experience with Expo Framework.
- Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React Navigation, Redux/MobX/Recoil (or other state management libraries).
- Knowledge of native modules and bridging with Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
- Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Exposure to mobile app deployment processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Understanding of automated testing (Jest). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
