As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of our platform's quality, ensuring our clients receive accurate, reliable, and seamless insights. Job Description● Bachelor’s Degree in Computer or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
● 3+ years relevant work experience in manual and automated tests
● Strong testing and debugging abilities, functional, analytical and technical abilities, ability to find bugs, attention to detail, troubleshooting
● Ability to communicate in English (conduct written and spoken daily conversations with English speakers from 30+ countries around the world). Effective communication and writing skills are a must
● Experience with tools like JIRA and Software Development and Collaboration tools such as Confluence
● Desire to be deeply involved in product supplementation and automation
● Appreciation for and commitment to clean, reusable and well-tested code, architecture, and documentation
● Experience working in an Agile environment (scrum, kanban)
● Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment environments
● Strong analytical skills and sense of technical creativity
● Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
● Detail oriented with a commitment to innovation
● Java/J2EE experience on Linux platform
● Familiarity with Hadoop Java software development
● Familiarity with a messaging bus, such as AMQ and Kafka
● SQL Programming (PostgreSQL), database management
● Experienced in building RESTful APIs.
● Work with web technology including AWS, Docker, Java, Python, JavaScript, React/Redux.
● Experience in writing unit/integration tests including test automation.
● Strong testing and debugging abilities, functional, analytical and technical abilities, ability to find bugs, attention to detail, troubleshooting
● Resourceful, self-starter, and a team-player
