What Are We Looking For?
Contentstack is looking for a Senior Software Engineer I. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!
Required:
API Development & Integration:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust APIs for machine learning models using FastAPI and Docker.
Software Engineering:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate machine learning capabilities into broader applications and services.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through code reviews and testing.
Scalability & Performance Optimization:
- Implement strategies for handling large-scale data and high-traffic scenarios.
- AWS Integration & Cloud Solutions:
- Implement cloud-based solutions to ensure high availability and scalability of ML applications.
- Manage AWS resources and infrastructure to support machine learning projects.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to define requirements and deliverables.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Best Practices & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and software engineering.
- Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Software Engineering Skills:
- Proficient in software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
Other Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Nice to have
API Development & Integration:
- Integrate machine learning models into existing and new systems ensuring seamless interaction and data flow.
Machine Learning Engineering:
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models/LLMs using Python.
- Implement best practices in model versioning, monitoring, and deployment.
Scalability & Performance Optimization:
- Optimize APIs and machine learning models for performance and scalability.
- AWS Integration & Cloud Solutions:
- Utilize AWS services for deploying and scaling machine learning models and APIs.
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in machine learning and data processing using Python and related libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
Location - Chennai (Hybrid)
