The Role

Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Services - Go / Python - Boston Seaport or Marlborough MA.

The Position

Nasuni is growing and looking for talented engineers to help continue the success of its cloud service. Gain experience in production high-scale cloud API services built on top of the latest AWS serverless technologies. We're looking for multi-disciplined software engineers interested in all aspects of product development - architecture, design, coding, testing, CI/CD, release & deployment management - all in an Agile environment. As the Senior Software Engineer, you will...
• Develop and maintain software SaaS services related to the cloud-hosted portion of Nasuni's product portfolio
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, design reviews, and other work related to new and expanded services
• Debug and fix bugs reported by customers, support, QA, and development
• Work with PM and customers support to address any escalations

Key skills we're looking for include:
• General understanding of cloud and/or serverless architectures including compute, messaging, queuing, and permissions (AWS preferred), and managing those resources via code (Terraform preferred)
• At least 5 years of Python, Go, or similar language development in a production environment
• Strong testing philosophy and demonstrated use of testing in these languages
• Understanding of database schemas and SQL
• Experience developing public or private APIs
• Data analysis to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations
• Ability to diagnose problems using logs, monitoring, and alerting
• Willingness to be on-call for production issues

Nice-to-have Skills:
• High-scale request and data processing with data analysis background
• Data visualizations with Grafana or similar technologies
