In this role, you will:
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Proven hands-on software development expertise in designing and delivering high-performance, large-scale, distributed applications.
- 2+ Years of experience in building AI/GenAI solutions driving innovation.
- Strong background in AI, Machine Learning, GenAI, or Data Science, including retrieval systems, embeddings, chunking strategies, and agentic AI workflows.
- Basic hands-on experience building or supporting AI-powered applications in enterprise environments, with exposure to RAG concepts, LLM APIs, and low-code GenAI tools (such as Copilot Studio or equivalent)
- Basic experience implementing observability and monitoring for AI systems (logs, traces, metrics, token usage, latency, and error tracking).
- Ensure responsible AI and security controls-guardrails, PII filtering, DLP, red-teaming, and safe deployment practices.
- Good understanding of AI and ML algorithms, spanning supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, transformers, optimization methods, and practical application of these techniques in production systems.
- 2+ years experience using Git or other version control systems
- Basic experience with low-code platforms such as Copilot Studio, Power Apps, or Power Automate.
- Basic familiarity with vector databases (Weaviate, Pinecone, pgvector) and embedding workflows.
- Exposure to LangChain fundamentals (prompt templates, basic chains, simple retrievers).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with strong analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
