We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Life Sciences team in Barcelona and help shape the future of pharma innovation. You’ll play a key role in developing Cortellis, our leading pharma-regulatory platform that empowers life sciences organizations with smarter, faster access to critical data. We value a curious, proactive mindset — someone eager to explore new tools and emerging trends in AI-assisted development, smart tooling, and data-centric engineering.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in fullstack development, combining strong front- and back-end skills with a drive for clean code, continuous improvement, and user impact.
2+ years of experience in Java, Javascript and/or Typescript and Angular
2+ years of experience with microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge of relational databases and non-relational databases
It would be great if you also had . . .
Experience in CSS, Flexbox, Gradle, Mockito or similar, Junit or similar.
Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.
Interest in emerging AI development practices and tooling.
What will you be doing in this role?
Collaborate in a cross-functional, agile team to design and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.
Lead front-end development while contributing across the stack, building intuitive, data-rich interfaces.
Explore and integrate modern technologies—including those inspired by AI-driven design patterns and intelligent automation—to enhance user experience and system performance.
Contribute to a product that supports global health and regulatory breakthroughs, with a growing focus on data intelligence.
Product you will be developing
Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence focuses exclusively on pharma and drug development, harmonizing and integrating essential biological, chemical and pharmacological data from disparate sources into a single platform.
About the Team
Our team brings together three Software Engineers and a QA Engineer, working alongside Solution Analysts, UX Designers, and Product Owners, and collaborating closely with other international teams to continuously develop and evolve the Cortellis web framework. . We’re a supportive, inclusive group that values innovation, ownership, and technical excellence, with a culture that encourages learning, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Hours of Work
This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Barcelona office (just a short walk from the Sagrada Familia), with a hybrid working model.
