About the Role
As a Senior Full-stack Engineer on Rapid7 Threat Intelligence, you will turn noisy threat data into curated, actionable intelligence for proactive defense against threat actors. You will design and ship services and UI that connect indicators to adversary TTPs, add customer context, and surface the highest risk items first - with automation ready to respond. Your work cuts noise, shrinks time to action, and helps customers stop real attacks.
As a member of a Prague-based team of seven engineers, you will take an active role in the design and planning of upcoming features and make well-reasoned decisions and tradeoffs in your areas of expertise. You will contribute to improving our established products, as well as building new products from scratch.
You will partner with cross-functional teams to own requirements that take into account all parties' needs to successfully deliver new features on time. That includes teams such as Customer Support or Product Management who work deeply with our product to ensure we are understanding our customers' needs.
Specifically, your focus will be to:

• Build, maintain, and release our well architected services by writing correct and clean code consistently and following best practices and conventions. You will understand and make well-reasoned design decisions and tradeoffs in your areas of expertise
• Take an active role in the design and planning of upcoming features, our engineers are first class stakeholders in all parts of the development process
• When required, partner with internal teams such as UX and Product Management who work deeply with our product to ensure we are understanding our customers needs
• Continue to develop a deep understanding of our products in order to support our customers
• Work with Practice specific technologies

The skills and qualities you'll bring include:

• 5+ years of experience in software development using Node.js, React (or Angular) and Python or other equivalent programming languages
• Experience with API design and service integration
• A collaborative mindset, partnering with others to drive toward solutions
• Experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS/GCP) or working with a Data Mesh architecture is a plus.
• Effectively communicates complex goals across teams and inspires a unified push toward a solution
