Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and product-minded Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build the next generation of our cloud-based, web-first data security products. This role requires proximity to Pune, India.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX to analyze and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end features within an Agile framework, from React front-end components to Node.js services and APIs, emphasizing clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions, including reusable component libraries, micro-frontends, and service boundaries.
- Partner with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software, and champion a shift-left approach to testing.
- Continuously improve and refactor existing codebases, optimizing performance, accessibility, maintainability, and scalability while adhering to coding best practices.
- Mentor and support other developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues, providing timely and effective solutions to enhance user satisfaction and product reliability.
- Contribute to project documentation, sharing insights and best practices to support the ongoing development and maintenance processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, actively participating in knowledge-sharing activities such as code reviews, team meetings, and technical discussions.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, including significant full stack experience.
- Strong proficiency in React (hooks, state management, component design) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, including building RESTful APIs and backend services (e.g., Express, NestJS, or similar).
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive, accessible UI development.
- Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), including schema design and query optimization.
- Demonstrated experience writing and executing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build tooling (e.g., Vite, Webpack).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and mentor others.
Other Relevant Experience
- Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or event-driven/message-based architectures.
- Experience building reusable component libraries or design systems, and micro-frontend architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO) and secure coding practices.
- Experience with C#/.NET, Microsoft Active Directory, or PowerShell is a plus.
- Experience working in an agile environment, Scrum.
