Loqate
At Loqate, our mission is to help every business in the world reach every customer in the world and we strive to understand location better than the people that live there. Thousands of big brands and household names use our location capture and verification services as part of their digital commerce and data quality user journeys, performing millions of transactions per day.
The role
Loqate is on a mission to build the best engineering team. We are looking for engineers who are excited to be part of our story and help us build a diverse and vibrant tech community. We hire engineers with a broad set of technical skills, who are highly cross-functional, and eager to solve a wide range of engineering challenges.
The growth engineering team owns the pre- and post-sale Loqate product experience. We are responsible for developing growth technology to multiply efforts across our sales and marketing teams. We experiment and analyse the best ways to grow and creativity is a must. We are a new and growing team so each individual will make an outsized impact.
What you will do
- Grow Loqate to 100,000+ customers through growth technology
- Scale our sales and marketing functions using software
- Drive business goals through experiments and metric-driven software development
- Work in a small, cross-functional, dynamic engineering team with partners in business operations, marketing, sales, and product
- Lead and mentor other engineers across various teams within the engineering department
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrable experience and expertise years of experience of a software development / engineering role commercially
- Full stack experience, Ideally using C# and React
- Cloud experience (AWS or GCP preferred)
- CI/CD tooling/environment
- Experience shipping fast, reliable, real-time applications using modern development tools
- Ability to improvise and develop creative solutions when common approaches fail. Strong value of pragmatism over idealism in times of uncertainty
- Perpetual curiosity and passion for honing your craft
- Previous experience in growth, or data roles
- Understanding of the tools that power marketing automation, personalization, and analytics, e.g. Segment, Amplitude
- Outbound sequencing tools e.g. Hubspot, Gong, Intercom
- CRM and Sales Engagement tools e.g. Salesforce, Salesloft, 6Sense
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing/pipelining tools such as BigQuery, Airflow, etc.
- Analytics experience through Looker or similar BI tools
