Job Description:
Our Consumer Team at DTN delivers vital weather information to millions of users through our website and mobile apps. We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Frontend development to help drive innovation, enhance performance, and deliver a world-class user experience.
What you will be responsible for:
Build and optimize web applications using Next.js and React, ensuring fast performance, smooth rendering, and great user experiences
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js
Design and implement performant, reusable, and responsive UI components
Integrate RESTful APIs to power frontend features
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and project timelines
Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and promote best practices
Develop documentation for system architecture, operational procedures, and product supportability
What you will bring to the role:
5+ years of experience in full-stack development
Deep expertise in React and Next.js
Experience building RESTful APIs with Node.js and/or Java (Spring Boot)
Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with a strong grasp of modern web development practices
Excellent understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and Cognito
Experience with Java and Spring Boot for backend development would be a bonus
Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, understandable terms for non-technical audiences

Compensation:
The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between PHP 105,000 and PHP 165,000 monthly. DTN is a pay-for-performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experiences, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity, and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market-competitive variable pay and benefits.
