About the role:
The Platform Frontend team is focused on building and maintaining a robust platform that supports all frontend development. This team oversees key areas like architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes. They also ensure performance, security, and best practices are upheld. By organizing the frontend landscape into product-driven and engineering-driven dimensions, the Frontend Platform team promotes clear ownership, efficient collaboration, and the delivery of high-quality, inclusive frontend solutions that meet Cresta’s diverse business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Play a substantial role in the platform frontend engineering team.
- Work with Cresta product and engineering teams, build and continuously improve the Cresta platform and new product requirements.
- Stay closely with customers and their requirements, analyze the technical tradeoffs, own the customer facing deliverables.
- Develop high quality, well designed, reusable, and well-tested system components, and contribute to the overall system designs.
- Constantly identifies product improvement opportunities and generates product improvement ideas.
- Demonstrate the engineering best practices in deliverables and daily work. Uphold others to the same high standards.
- Technical ownership in a substantial part of the Cresta product and platform.
- Contribute to building the best-in-class company in addition to building the best-in-class product.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong Computer Science fundamentals.
- 8+ years of experience in relevant domains.
- Very solid coding skills.
- Familiar with React or Angular. Have used at least one of them in large scale consumer-facing products.
- Proficient in designing and maintaining clear frontend architecture.
- Experience as a technical lead of frontend stack supporting various product features.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits. Actual base salaries will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.
