The Role:
As a seasoned Front-End Software Engineer, you’ll shape our flagship Middle-Office Platform - a modern, multi-broker/multi-prime solution that streamlines post-trade processing for both buy-side and sell-side clients. You’ll tackle complex problems, weighing trade-offs to craft clean, performant code that delights users and elevates our engineering standards. Your work will also drive our operational excellence, ensuring we meet (and exceed) expectations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years of professional experience implementing scalable web solutions with a minimum of 1 year of Capital Markets industry experience.
- You have a deep and strong understanding of React and Typescript.
- You have an understanding of Capital Markets trading environments.
- You are able to recognize and find solutions to performance issues.
- You believe in and have experience with UI/UX testing. (unit and integration).
- You aim for operational excellence.
- You obsess over the user experience.
- You like working in a team first environment.
- You take pride in the quality of your work and hold yourself to a high standard.
We Offer:
The Base Salary Range for this role is $140,000–220,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.

Our belief has always been that we are better as a business when we are all together in person. As such, beginning on January 2, 2023, we are requiring employees to be in the office 4 days per week.
