About the Role

The Field Tooling and Safety team is a foundational team within Opendoor focused on building the tools that our team and trade partners use to manage homes. This is a unique opportunity to drive impact across the business from pre-acquisition of a home to listing that home post-renovation.

This role will involve collaborating across functions to design, build, and release new systems that drive learnings to our business so we can better serve our customers. • Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions as you work with other software engineers, UX designers, and product managers.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development velocity and iteration speed.

Bonus points if you have

  • Expertise in the following: Javascript/TypeScript with React on the frontend, and one backend language (we use Ruby and Go).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering solutions that drive excellence for operationally intensive organizations
