Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer - Events for Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Urbandale, IA, you will....• Work on a team focused on effectively storing and aggregating event data within the Data Platform and delivering valuable insights to both internal and external customers.• Develop, test, and maintain a robust Java backend system on AWS infrastructure, adhering to industry-standard agile software design methodology while ensuring coherent documentation.• Collaborate with a diverse development team and stakeholders to ensure the alignment of features with business requirements.• Evaluate and implement enhancements to design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications.

What Skills You Need• 4+ years of experience Product design, test and/or analysis experience.• 4+ years of experience in programming/software development (C#, Java, Scala, NodeJS)• 4+ years of experience hosting services in AWS cloud technologies• 4+ years of experience managing many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment• 4+ years of excellence in verbal and written communication forms with tact and negotiation
What Makes You Stand Out• Experience with Precision Ag, Forestry or Roadbuilding technologies and their use• Experience with database management and support (SQL, DynamoDB, DocDB, Elastic Search)• Experience with AWS full stack development• Using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to collaborate in a cohesive team• An inquisitive mind and aptitude for continuous learning
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:• Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, MIS, or other IT related discipline or equivalent experience
