TEAM
Enterprise AI is a platform that provides end-to-end machine learning tooling experience to support and accelerate machine learning development, including autonomous driving and other related projects.
As a Software Engineer in the Enterprise AI - Cloud infrastructure team, you will work alongside machine learning engineers not only within Woven by Toyota but throughout the Toyota Group and its vendors to build a scalable machine learning platform.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for experienced developers who are excited to build tools and frameworks to support AI workloads and enable solutions for the machine learning model development lifecycle. This is a hybrid role requiring your presence onsite 3 days per week, where you will report to the senior engineering manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define architecture and plan to build scalable, distributed systems
- Implement critical systems while maintaining reliability
- Work with other teams to maximize infrastructure usage and build efficient solutions for complex tasks, using English to collaborate
- As a senior developer, establish and improve development standards together with the team
- Implement CI/CD best practices for our services
- Provide support such as analysis and monitoring, and act as part of the team for on-call responsibility for production incidents
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in programming, with significant experience using Python, Golang, or related programming languages
- 2+ years with Kubernetes and container technologies in production environments, especially event-driven, distributed, and cloud architectures
- Knowledge of best practices for scalability, reliability, and security and DevOps best practices
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with databases and blob storage
- Familiarity with Kubeflow or Flyte
- Understanding of machine learning development life cycle
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)
