Position overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer who wants to contribute to the further development of our ISV integration solution within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). Our solution is primarily implemented as an X++ extension within F&O, aimed at generically synchronizing data between F&O and the software solutions of our three divisions, with a focus on our CPQ (Configure Price Quote) division.
Your role
In this position, you will be responsible for further expanding and refining our X++-based ISV extension, which enables data from various host systems to be written in a generic and configurable way to standard F&O entities as well as custom entities developed by third parties or partners.
Your primary objective is to develop a robust, scalable architecture within F&O itself. You will work at the core of the system and ensure that our solution is optimally aligned with both Microsoft standards and extensions from other ISVs.
Responsibilities
• Further developing our generic X++ extension that exchanges data between F&O and the software solutions developed by our organization in a generic and efficient manner.
• Improving error handling, logging, tracing, and performance within the extension.
• Understanding and applying F&O extension models, data entities, batch and asynchronous processing within F&O.
• Supporting implementation consultants and support staff with in-depth knowledge of the internal workings of our ISV extension.
• Contributing to maintenance, release management, and quality assurance of the ISV solution.
What you bring to the table
• At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in Dynamics 365 F&O / AX.
• Strong command of X++ and experience with setting up, expanding, and maintaining extensions within F&O.
• Deep understanding of F&O data models, data entities, Rest API’s , Soap endpoints, and XML / JSON handling within F&O.
• Experience with ISV solutions, multi-tenant environments, or third-party customizations within F&O.
• Experience with generic solutions and configuration-driven development patterns.
• Good communication skills and a structured, analytical way of working.

• Knowledge of production and supply chain components within F&O to better apply our generic data processing logic in complex customer environments.
• Experience with CPQ environments or product configuration processes.
• Knowledge of Azure integration solutions (to support end-to-end architecture).
• Experience working with international teams and ISV partners.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation within F&O.
• Experience with other solutions within the Dynamics family (preferably Business Central).
