The CBA technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. It is also dedicated to delivering the best workplace technology experience for our over 53.000 people across CBA and focused on providing the latest tools, technology, and resources to enhance the way we work together and empower our people to achieve more for our customers.

This role is part of the Dynamic Authorisation Squad, building and operating the future platform and enabling fine grain authorisation across many customer interactions in the Group’s digital channels including CommBank app and NetBank. Through Dynamic Authorisation, we look to significantly reduce customer exposure to Fraud and Scams by combining customer telemetry and relevant identification and threat detection policy for real time transaction decisioning.

 We’re interested in hearing from people who:   

• Are knowledgeable about software development and cloud computing

• Have solid DevOps Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization and orchestration

• Are comfortable with development in more than one programming languages such as Java, .NET Core, C#, Python, Golang

• Pride themselves in being excellent problem-solvers and strong communicators

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment

Tech skills & experience:   

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

• Programming languages such as Java, .NET Core, C#, Python, Golang

• DevOps capabilities and tooling- CI/CD, Github actions, Artifactory, Vault, AWS cloud, Containerisation,

• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS

• Infrastructure as Code with tools such as Terraform or Cloudformation

• Ping Identity products (Ping IDM, Ping Authorize etc.) knowledge is desirable
