Why this role

We are looking for an innovative and highly-motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering Infrastructure Team, contributing to the build, security, and scaling of our cloud infrastructure. As a key member of our expanding team, you'll influence our technology landscape, guiding us to new heights of excellence. Take the lead in advancing our DevOps practices, seamlessly aligning them with our organizational vision and strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate loves building durable infrastructure in a fast-paced environment, while solving complex issues and introducing scalable processes to support the business. We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactively seeks out system or pipeline weaknesses and finds ways to fix them. Most importantly, the candidate understands engineers, homeowners, guests, and all end-users are our customers and you’re obsessed with creating seamless experiences for them. What you’ll do 

  • Design, develop and maintain tools for automation that reduce operational friction and increase engineering efficiency
  • Provision infrastructure with Terraform and create reusable modules
  • Implement application monitoring tools that reflect the wellness of the Evolve application
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify DevOps needs and deliver solutions
  • Enable teams to integrate and deploy code with CI/CD pipelines in a manner that is secure, reliable and efficient
  • Integrate tooling with build infrastructure and achieve process consistency throughout Evolve

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years building scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines, in GitLab, Docker, AWS
  • Expert understanding of modern DevOps best practices and how to implement them
  • Experience providing  technical leadership as a senior member of a development team
  • Proficiency in platform engineering principles, crafting IDPs to empower engineers
  • Skill in troubleshooting cross-system issues and designing end-to-end stack solutions
  • Expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes for resource management, provisioning, and deployment
  • Comfortable working in Agile Scrum environment and the ability to prototype quickly
  • Experience with Terragrunt and ArgoCD is a plus
  • Excels in dynamic work environments with ease and adaptability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

U.S 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S except in the following states: District of Columbia, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

Annual base salary range: $163,000-$182,000, depending on relevant experience

Location 

We currently are able to hire throughout the U.S. except in the following states: District of Columbia, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania. There are also certain positions that may have hiring impacts in the following states: California, Maryland, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington. If you live in Colorado, you can work remotely anywhere in the state, at our downtown Denver office, or a hybrid of both!
