Job Title: Senior Software Engineer- Connex
Location: Bangalore

Impact & contribution
Utilise advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, draw on core technology and domain knowledge to lead the design, enhancement and maintenance of a technology solution.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply the principles of design, development, testing, deployment, support, and evaluation.
- Develop and deploy high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.
- Analyse business objectives and translate requirements to technical implementation components.
- Design and build programs or application features meeting business objective and requirements.
- Provide accurate estimates for the development effort for new features.
- Provide mentoring and technical assistance to other members of the team.
- Apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
- Contribute to the strategic engineering goals within own team and platform.
- Lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity
Essential Skills
- Expertise of 10 years in TAL/pTAL, TACL, Guardian, SQL/MX & Enscribe database, Pathways and Cobol
- Expertise in end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards in HPE Nonstop development
- Strong knowledge of Connex and its System Architecture with expertise on Connex components like AP, TH, PI & SDX design and development.
- In depth knowledge of AS2805 and ISO Standards and message formats.
- Expertise in scheme regulations and procedures for VISA/MasterCard/EFTPOS
- Experience in Master Card, VISA & FINSIM Simulators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or any similar stream
