Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Cloud Infrastructure to lead the design, automation, and scaling of our cloud infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring that our robotics platform operates seamlessly, securely, and efficiently across distributed cloud environments.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure for robotics applications.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based software deployment.
- Optimize and automate infrastructure management (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Implement security best practices for cloud environments.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of cloud services.
- Collaborate with software engineers to streamline cloud-based development workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and propose improvements.
What you must have
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or related fields (PhD experience applicable).
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.).
Get some bonus points
- Experience leading a DevOps or Cloud team.
- Familiarity with communication protocols like gRPC and WebRTC.
