Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide explanations and interpretations within area of expertise. Create and communicate recommendations on strategy and implementation of cloud-based applications based on research, knowledge, and personal experience
- Design, create, and maintain highly-scalable, efficient, secure, and easily-maintainable microservices, performing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on Microsoft Azure
- Establish, refine, and integrate CI/ CD, feature testing automation, and performance testing, as needed
- Identify and resolve production and non-production application and/or infrastructure issues
- Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, public cloud infrastructure cost, best cloud practices, scalability, high availability, etc., and implement those opportunities
- Uses corporation-approved AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot Chat, to ideate, brainstorm, and troubleshoot technical issues. When appropriate, they develop automation scripts and software tools to enhance their workflow, leveraging GitHub
- User Responsibilities:
- Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation by streamlining workflows and automating repetitive tasks. Evaluate emerging trends to drive continuous improvement and strategic innovation
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field, with 4+ years of experience in leading .Net projects, and with 4+ years of experience in .Net Core, Angular, REST, Azure , SQL
- Cloud Certification, preferably Azure
- Experience developing REST based web services and OAuth flows
- Knowledge of Copilot for code generation
- Knowledgeable with principles and techniques to solve technical problems
- Good understanding of Infrastructure as code
- Proven ability to use corporation-approved AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot Chat, to ideate, brainstorm, and troubleshoot technical issues. When appropriate, they develop automation scripts and software tools to enhance their workflow, leveraging GitHub
- Demonstrated attitude and behaviors of teamwork to work closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps
- Demonstrated ability to envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and ability to define technologies, patterns and frameworks to materialize it
- Demonstrated ability to understand the design and develop the framework of the system and be able to explain choices made. Ability to write and review design documents explaining overall architecture, framework, and high level design of the application
- Demonstrated ability to create, understand and validate Design and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
- Demonstrated ability to define in-scope/out-of-scope, and ability to consider assumptions while creating effort estimates
- Demonstrated ability to identify and integrate successfully with various technologies used by other applications in the environment. Requires ability to appreciate dependencies, differences, growth expectations, ease of accommodating changes, and other considerations in order to successfully integrate and maintain long-term smooth operations
- Demonstrated ability to deliver professional-level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an external customer or end user
- Demonstrated ability to not only operate within (but also promote, support, and improve where possible) established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ability to work in-office as needed to be compliant with in-person attendance requirements and to have solid relationships with direct reports and other coworkers
