We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on backend to join our Delivery team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and Participate the development and testing of our systems and services
- Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions
- Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment
- Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Advanced Level of English (Mandatory)
- 5+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern stack
- Our core stack is Java/ Kotlin/ Spring / PostgreSQL/ React, and we run on Kubernetes in a service oriented architecture with over 100 services in production
- 3+ years Java or Kotlin programming experience
- A solid understanding of relational databases and ORMs
- Experience working on a SOA or microservice-based application.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
- Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion
- Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests
- View Unit and Integration test as 1st class citizen in software development
- Desire to grow, learn and collaborate with a team of engineers.
Nice to have
- Full-stack experience, either toward systems (kafka, temporal, docker, posix), databases (postgres), or front-end (javascript/typescript, react).
