We are a dynamic and innovative company dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Platform Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our Mosaic Cloud Platform.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Design or assist in the design and development of the Mosaic Cloud Platform management solution.

Design or assist in the design and development of CI pipeline infrastructure for build and test requirements.

Perform or assist in high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new modules and enhancements.

Conduct feasibility studies for software development needs.
-
Document design including features definition and provisioning models.
-
Model and define APIs using YANG or similar standards.
-
Conduct and participate in design reviews and code reviews.

Plan and perform unit and system level testing of software modules and enhancements.
-
Fix software bugs found during all testing phases.
-
Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases.
-
Organize and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints.

Other projects and assignments as needed to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the company.
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent education.

3 to 5 years of experience.

Experience with Scala and Akka framework are mandatory
-
Strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with software design, implementation, and debugging, including inter-process communication and multi-threading techniques.

Familiarity with Ethernet and networking protocols.
-
Experience with JVM tuning and memory management.
-
Experience with Python.
-
Experience with Robot test framework.
-
Experience working with Kafka.
-
Experience with functional programming.
-
Experience developing and deploying large-scale applications.
-
Experience with Scala Cats and/or Monix.
-
Experience with Postgres.
-
Experience with Test Driven Development or Unit Test Frameworks.

Experience developing containerized applications (Docker or equivalent).
Success Criteria: The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the systems that keep our software development cycle running smoothly. The Platform Engineer will work closely with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of our applications.
