Senior Software Engineer, Applications

We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer, Applications to join our software team in Hamburg, Germany, where we develop the technology that powers the next generation of music production tools.

In this role, you will help with the development of cross-platform software applications that integrate tightly with our audio interfaces, digital mixers, and DAW controllers. This includes working on apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

Essential Functions:

• Work with the Software Team Lead and other members of the development team to design and develop our cross-platform application software 
• Work across desktop/mobile platforms to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C++ and participate in code reviews
• Collaborate closely and continuously with QA, Product Owners and Product Designers
• Work with team members to refine requirements for software development

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education
• Proven experience in software development (C++), preferably in audio or cross-platform applications
• Strong object-oriented C++ programming skills required
• Familiarity with software development for mobile devices is a plus
• Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, Xcode, Git, cmake, Jira / Confluence)
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Excellent time, task and resource organization skills
• Background in music production and audio technology, as well as knowledge of music production software and software instruments is a benefit
