Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer—app Development Specialist, you will lead the development of our mobile applications, focusing on hybrid and native solutions. This role requires proficiency in hybrid frameworks such as Ionic and a strong understanding of React/React Native. You will collaborate across teams to ensure the app’s seamless integration with web and backend systems. Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

App Development:

• Build and maintain hybrid and native mobile applications using frameworks like Ionic.
• Integrate hardware-level features such as biometrics and device sensors to enhance user functionality.
• Develop user-friendly and high-performance mobile interfaces that align with brand standards.

Integration & Collaboration:

• Work with web-focused engineers to ensure consistent hybrid framework interoperability.
• Integrate mobile apps with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for dynamic data retrieval.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless app experiences.

AWS & Architecture:

• Utilize AWS services to optimize app performance and scalability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for efficient mobile app deployments.
• Advocate for best practices in cloud-based architecture and infrastructure.

Problem Solving:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile app performance and reliability.
• Develop innovative solutions for enhancing mobile app scalability and security.

Desired Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Skills & Experience:             

• 3-5 years React/React Native experience
• 5+ years of experience in app development, with expertise in hybrid and native frameworks
• Proficiency in hybrid development frameworks like Ionic, with additional experience in native app development
• Strong understanding of mobile hardware integrations, including biometrics and device sensors
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices
• Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, DynamoDB) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Strong understanding of mobile design principles, UX/UI, and performance optimization
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a flexible hybrid work environment.
