Senior AI Engineer (Future Tech Lead)

What you'll do:
- Explore how AI can bring real value to our product, and where it doesn’t make sense
- Build PoCs and MVPs for AI-powered features like:
- Internal and customer-facing chatbots
- Dynamic pricing tools
- Automation of repetitive workflows
- Ship fast, useful features that have real user impact
- Influence the architecture, tech stack, and development approach
- Grow into the AI Tech Lead role by building your own team and processes
What we’re looking for:
- Solid backend experience with Kotlin or Java, including Spring Boot
- Strong engineering fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Independence. You can take an idea and turn it into a working feature
- Curiosity and adaptability. Even if you're not a seasoned ML expert, you're a fast learner
- A pragmatic mindset. You know when AI is the right tool and when it’s just complexity
- Clean code, even for MVPs
Bonus points if you have:
- Hands-on experience with AI or ML: LLMs, RAG, chatbots, predictive models, generative tools
- Familiarity with Azure AI or ML services
- Passion for product architecture and building scalable systems
- Ambition to grow into an AI Tech Lead role
