Overview of the role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join our technical team and help build high‑quality, scalable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. You’ll work closely with other developers, architects and product teams to deliver reliable, user‑focused solutions that power our global products.
You’ll help design, build, and enhance our web applications using modern .NET technologies, contributing to both new development and improvement of existing systems. Working closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects, you’ll take part in shaping technical solutions, refining requirements, and ensuring our applications are intuitive, reliable, and high‑performing. You’ll write clean, tested code, participate in peer reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and bring new ideas or research to the team whenever relevant.
Requirements
Technical skills/experience:
- 5+ years hands on development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies to build Web application, as well as Windows and Web Services.
- Experience using microservice architecture and building cloud native application for Azure
- Experience in the below frameworks and libraries:
- ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core
- Solid experience with RDBMS with more recent experience using NoSQL databases
- Experience with modern DevOps practices including:
- Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Automation, Release Automation, Configuration Management, Cross Functional collaboration
- Experience with the below testing toolset:
- Moq, xUnit or equivalent unit testing frameworks
- Experience of developing for applications hosted in Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
- OOP programming (theoretical and practical experience of OO design principles and patterns)
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD) and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
Other Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong communication with both technical and business teams.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Self-motivation and drive to take on personal responsibility.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Critical reasoning and decision making skills.
The salary range for this position is between €4,200 and €4,600 / month gross.
