Where do you fit?
SugarCRM is looking for a highly motivated, full-time UI Software Engineer to help create amazing front end experiences for our customers. Your role will be to create our forward-facing applications with React, Bootstrap, D3 and several internally developed proprietary libraries in addition pure CSS and JavaScript. As a key member of a small and versatile team, you will design, test, deploy and maintain SugarCRM's front end experience.
Engineering Team Culture:
Our focus is building out teams with smart engineers who are passionate about their craft and excited to build software for our unique solutions in the CRM (customer relationship management) space. At SugarCRM, you'll have the chance to work on various teams and stacks. Here's more:

· We use a Scrum-based development methodology that includes daily stand-ups, regular Sprint reviews, and retrospectives to discuss
Impact you will make in the role:
- Implement responsive web interfaces for desktop and mobile browsers
- Architect efficient, scalable and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
- Design and implement rich interactive real-time visualizations using modern development technologies
- Collaborate with Product Management to define and deliver compelling user-facing products
What you will need to succeed:
- 5+ years of HTML/CSS experience, including concepts like layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
- 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, and types. Experience with React, Angular or a modern framework is a bonus
- 5+ years experience with optimizing front end performance for desktop and mobile browsers
- 2+ years of data visualization experience. Experience with D3 preferred
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
