In this role, you have the opportunity to:
Own the software development testing process for our multi-purpose warehouse robot, Stretch. Define and execute the roadmap for the future of development testing, including building tools, automation, and dashboards to enable fast delivery, improving software stability, and developer velocity.
You are responsible for:

Developing a roadmap for the future of testing, including manual test suites, unit/sim/CI tests, and automation

Building tools and frameworks for test automation, e.g. simulation-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test stands, infra, CI/CD pipelines, and processes

Collaborating with developers and SQA engineers to define test scenarios and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Creating and maintaining dashboards to track the stability of our software and efficacy of our test suites
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

BA/BE and 5+ years of experience in software development, devops, systems, SQA, or test engineering

Strong organizational and project management skills; Ability to drive projects forward, working with multiple stakeholders

Experience in the robotics industry, or closely related integrated HW/SW systems

Experience configuring build and continuous integration processes and pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)

Experience with data analysis tools (tableau, looker, datadog, etc)

Strong software development skills, languages including C++, python, bash scripting

Experience with test and test automation frameworks
