Full Stack Software Engineer -AWS

Location Details: Remote, Serbia

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

GoDaddy is building a central platform for handling CICD for all of its applications, using AWS and GitHub Actions. This major initiative at the company, with the aim of reducing fragmentation and growing security, consistency, leverage, and most of all developer efficiency and happiness.

GoDaddy has over a hundred applications on our platform already, but we need you to help us take this to the next level, as we've only just begun. This is a software development role, and it covers the range from automating infrastructure to adding features to our UI and everything in between. We are a small but highly effective team of five engineers who collaborate remotely from various locations across US to UK time zones.

What you'll get to do...

• Deliver features that bring immediate value to our customers who are our GoDaddy Engineers around the globe
• Continuously work to improve resilience and quality
• Address and tackle problems and collaborate with customers
• Build towards a good end-to-end developer experience across all our internal platforms
• Learn new tech skills with a very modern stack that includes quite a range of different technologies

Your experience should include...

• 5+ years of experience as a software development engineer
• 3+ years’ experience in proficient coding in Node.js, back-end and front-end
• Strong experience with AWS CDK
• Experience with CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins)
• Proactive bias for action approach used to working with Scrum / Agile methodologies

You might also have...

• Experience developing GitHub Actions and in automating Cloud Infrastructure and containers
• Experience with: Elastic observability stack and/or OpenTelemetry, Cypress and test-driven development, detailing in Markdown, TypeScript, CSS, NextJS and ReactJS
