Position Overview
Autodesk Fusion is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing to connect entire product development process into one cloud-based platform. We are looking for a passionate Senior SDET to join our scrum team in Bengaluru, India contributing to the Fusion Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM). MFGDM is the foundation of the Manufacturing Cloud and the core data framework for Autodesk's flagship product, Autodesk Fusion. You will report to the manager and work in a hybrid mode.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hybrid environment with a strong focus on functional testing and end-to-end automation of product features and workflows.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar languages and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Playwright, Cypress).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to scalable test infrastructure supporting parallel execution.
- Create and manage test plans, test data automation, and validation strategies aligned with Agile development workflows.
- Perform peer reviews of test code, advocate for quality best practices, and drive improvements in test coverage, reliability, and maintainability.
- Maintain and enhance quality metrics and dashboards to track testing progress and report insights to leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS or higher in computer science or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in building optimized backend/API automation using industry standard tools/frameworks like Postman, RestAssured etc.
- Good experience in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript for writing automated tests.
- Experience with frontend/UI automation using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD and experience integrating test automation with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or BlazeMeter.
- Ability to build scalable, maintainable, and reusable test frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing or deploying on AWS (Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, etc.).
- Experience in frontend testing strategy (component, visual regression, cross-browser testing).
- Awareness of modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
- Willingness to take on challenges and step out of your comfort zone to grow.
