As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
- Creating automation solutions within an extensive and varied Python codebase.
- Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure robust software quality and seamless integration.
- Utilizing modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, MongoDB, ClickHouse, public cloud platforms, and additional innovative tools.
- Collaborating with R&D and Product teams to establish effective quality strategies for upcoming features.
- Collaborating closely with technical teams across Guardicore and Akamai to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
- Designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks to ensure robust software quality across multiple platforms and environments.
- Designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality and streamline the development lifecycle.
- Driving quality initiatives for new features while shaping testing strategies across the entire software development lifecycle.
What you'll build
To be successful in this role you will:
- Demonstrate experience creating test automation using Python or any other object-oriented programming language.
- Demonstrate expertise in software engineering with experience creating scalable and maintainable automation frameworks.
- Demonstrate expertise with both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Demonstrate expertise in computer networking concepts and practical experience in testing distributed systems effectively.
- Build comprehensive automated testing infrastructures from start to finish.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to ensure software quality and reliability across various platforms.
