What you’ll do
Own the quality assurance tasks for multiple projects, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability
Actively participate in design and requirements reviews to ensure testability and usability of features and products
Lead testing efforts, including developing and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts
Plan, implement and execute testing tasks in different product areas - DB, integration, functional, UI/UX
Analyse test results to identify areas for improvement and recommend process changes as needed
Provide technical and process mentorship to less experienced colleagues
Work in compact, autonomous teams with short release cycles - we rely on agile, independent teams of sharp and driven people with just the right amount of processes to steer off anarchy and not sacrifice velocity
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing
Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and tools
Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (Python, TypeScript, Java, etc.)
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Pytest, TestNG, etc.)
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar
Strong RDBMS knowledge
Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A very good command of English and excellent communication skills
Passion for quality assurance
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience with testing microservices and distributed systems
Experience in testing mobile applications
Experience with NoSQL DB
Experience with Event Stream Processing platforms
