One sentence description of the role
Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of software solutions for Philips' IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia (ICCA) platform, providing technical leadership, mentoring software engineers, and contributing to the evolution of the product toward cloud-based technologies.
Your role:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions supporting IntelliSpace Critical Care and Anesthesia (ICCA) clinical workflows.
Act as a technical specialist within an Agile SAFe squad, driving software architecture discussions, mentoring team members, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
Partner with Software Architects to evaluate technical alternatives and recommend solutions that maximize business and customer value.
Develop robust applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and API integrations, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and high software quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams, participating in requirements refinement, technical design, implementation, and release planning.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests, ensuring software reliability and compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with DevOps teams in CI/CD processes and production deployments, while troubleshooting software issues and supporting root cause analysis when needed.
Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously identify opportunities to improve software performance, scalability, maintainability, and the overall customer experience.

You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and API development/integration, with solid experience in software architecture, code reviews, and Agile SAFe environments.
Advanced English (C1), with the ability to communicate effectively on a daily basis with global teams, including technical discussions, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
Experience in Healthcare Software, Medical Devices, or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable. Experience with Cloud technologies, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub), and production troubleshooting is considered a plus.
