The Opportunity:
GEOINT Tradecraft Suite is seeking a Senior Software Developer to support its Hub, Gambit, and Bright Idea tools within NGA’s core services portfolio.
NGA is both a DoD Combat Support Agency (CSA) and a member of the United States Intelligence Community (IC). As a CSA, NGA provides critical support to the national decision-making process and the operational readiness of America’s military forces. As a member of the IC, the NGA mission is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate GEOINT in support of National Security objectives. NGA is responsible for GEOINT analytic processes. To remain operationally effective within a fluid, unconventional domain, NGA must advance in capability and analysis methodology.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and performs software problem analysis, requirements analysis, design, modification, testing and adaptation of application software
- Leads operations and maintenance effort for the GTS suite of capabilities, products and services
- Directs and manages resources responsible for the resolution of discrepancies and other required maintenance activities
Qualifications:
Required:
- Hold an active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance, preferably with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree plus ten years of experience, or Masters plus five years of experience in government Program and Information Technology Management or a related field
- Experience in leading team-tasks for modifying complex applications programs from specifications and Discrepancy Reports
- Experience drafting detailed application program coding specifications
- Experience working on all phases of applications programming activities, independent of supervisory guidance
- Experience in geospatial information system development or sustainment
Desired:
- Experience working with NGA
- NGA’s Testing Organization (NTO)
- NGA’s IATT, ATO, SATO security processes
- Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$114,600 - 252,100 USD
