Build secure, reliable products and integrations that support important day-to-day operations for Canadian businesses. In this hands-on full-stack role, you will deliver features across user experience, API, data and integration layers, then support them in production. 

You will work with React, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL Server and Microsoft Azure as a senior member of a cross-functional Agile team. The role offers end-to-end ownership of customer-facing features, secure interfaces and reliable transaction workflows. You will contribute to cloud delivery, automated testing, event-driven processing and production support. As your scope grows, you will shape solution design, own key integrations and mentor other developers. 

 
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $142,000

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career – What you'll do 

• Lead features end to end across user interfaces, backend services, data, integrations, testing and release. 

• Build customer-facing applications with React and TypeScript, including modular micro-frontend experiences. 

• Design secure, maintainable REST APIs and backend services using Node.js and TypeScript. 

• Integrate partner and third-party platforms using REST APIs, signed webhooks, OAuth and file-based exchanges. 

• Build dependable data synchronization, scheduled processing and transaction workflows with clear retry and recovery behavior. 

• Design SQL Server schemas, queries and migrations that protect data integrity and performance. 

• Create automated unit, integration, API and user-interface tests using tools such as Jest and Playwright. 

• Contribute to Azure solutions, delivery pipelines, infrastructure as code, production support, technical design and developer mentoring. 

Your Moneris Career – What you bring 

Required qualifications 

• 7+ years of experience building and supporting production software. 

• Strong full-stack experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js. 

• Experience designing REST APIs, service-based applications and integrations with internal or third-party systems. 

• Strong SQL and relational data modelling skills, including database migrations. 

• Automated testing experience across unit, integration and API tests. 

• Experience with asynchronous or event-driven processing using Kafka or another messaging platform. 

• Experience with secure authentication and authorization, a major cloud platform, Git, pull requests, continuous integration and delivery. 

Preferred qualifications 

• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical design. 

• Experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Key Vault, managed identities or Azure API Management. 

• Experience with micro-frontends, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or Bicep. 

• Experience with high-volume transaction processing, OAuth 2.0, observability, cloud data platforms, payments, fintech or another regulated industry.
