Salary: $90,220 – $145,000/year
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications supporting the military aviation mission planning enterprise.
Responsibilities:
* Analyze software requirements and develop software solutions.
* Design and develop software components and user interfaces.
* Perform system and unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
* Take ownership of applications and serve as a technical SME.
* Participate in technical meetings and provide recommendations.
* Collaborate with development teams, customers, and software users.
* Support system modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Required Qualifications:
* Active Secret Security Clearance required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 10–12 years of software engineering experience in a DoD environment.
* Experience with **C# and C++**.
* Experience developing Microsoft Windows applications.
* Experience with one or more of: **.NET, Windows Forms, WPF, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React**.
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or Microsoft Test.
* Knowledge of military aviation mission planning.
* Experience with Git and Azure DevOps.
