We are looking for a motivated and curious Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team. This position is ideal for a developer who is looking to take the next step, broaden their technical skills, and gain hands-on experience working on complex multidisciplinary systems that combine software, hardware, cloud technologies, and AI.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving challenging technical problems, and is not afraid to explore unfamiliar technologies and domains. The ideal candidate has strong software-development fundamentals, a hands-on mindset, and the motivation to grow into a developer who can understand and contribute to the system as a whole.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain application and backend components using .NET, JavaScript, and Python.
- Participate in the development of microservices and distributed applications.
- Work with Linux-based systems, including application deployment, debugging, logs, scripting, and troubleshooting.
- Work with cloud services, containers, databases, and messaging technologies.
- Participate in the development and integration of LLM-based features and AI agents.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues across software, networking, cloud, and hardware interfaces.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, system, algorithm, and cloud engineers as part of a multidisciplinary R&D environment.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, integration, and production support.
- Take increasing ownership of features and components as your technical knowledge and experience grow.
- Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and areas of the system.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Good programming skills and understanding of object-oriented programming and software-development principles.
- Professional experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
- Basic experience working with Linux environments and a willingness to deepen your Linux and system-level knowledge.
- Understanding of REST APIs and client/server architectures.
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and modern software-development workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare software, or another multidisciplinary/regulated environment.
- Experience with microservices or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with messaging/event-driven systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent.
- Experience or strong interest in Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, RAG, or other Generative AI technologies.
- Experience with Python or another programming language in addition to C#.
- Familiarity with networking, communication protocols, device control, or hardware–software integration.
