This is a senior-level role with real technical leadership scope. You'll own complex features end-to-end, from design and implementation through production deployment and support, across our C#/.NET application stack. You'll contribute to architectural decisions, raise the quality bar of the codebase, and be a force multiplier for the engineers around you. You ship high-quality software, and you make the team better at doing the same.
A note on how we work: we release often and we own what we build. You'll see your work reach customers quickly, and you'll have a real say in the architecture and practices that get it there. We expect both what we build and how we build it to keep evolving. Customer needs change, technology changes, and new capabilities create new possibilities. We value people who are comfortable adapting, questioning assumptions, and helping the team figure out what makes sense next.
This role onboards in person in our Omaha, Nebraska office.
What You'll Do
Own complex features end to end, including design, build, deployment, and production support.
Shape architecture and data models, including how systems fit together, how data is structured, and how SQL performs under real load.
Keep production healthy. Lead performance, scalability, and reliability work on the systems you own, and drive root cause analysis toward durable fixes instead of patches.
Make the team better through thoughtful code review and by mentoring mid-level engineers on design, testing discipline, debugging, and pragmatic tradeoffs.
5+ years building production software.
Deep hands-on C#/.NET experience, or an equivalent statically typed, managed-runtime stack.
SQL at scale, including schema design, query tuning, and working with real data volumes.
A track record of shipping scalable systems and making the engineers around you better.
Adaptability and comfort with change, including evolving product priorities, technologies, and ways of working.
Clear communication. You can explain a technical decision to an engineer or a product manager and make the reasoning clear to either audience.
Exposure to building or integrating AI-powered product features.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
TypeScript and React experience.
Hands-on experience with Azure or another major cloud provider, such as AWS or GCP.
Docker and container-based development workflows.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Background in SaaS or B2B product companies.
