Job Description:

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph to support mission-critical programs in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. In this role, you will contribute to the productization of mission-focused software solutions for deployment beyond the current customer environment and across the broader Department of Defense (DoD) community.

Working alongside a collaborative development and consulting team, you will help remove customer-specific dependencies, abstract environment-specific configurations, and develop interfaces that enable authorization workflows and key management operations across a variety of customer environments. You'll support solution design, development, testing, integration, and deployment while applying modern software development practices and Agile methodologies.

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll have the opportunity to develop enterprise software solutions, contribute to encryption and key management capabilities, and support integrated solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and support software solutions contributing to the productization of mission-focused applications. 
  • Develop and enhance interfaces that support authorization workflows and key management operations across multiple customer environments. 
  • Support the removal of customer-specific dependencies and abstraction of environment-specific configurations. 
  • Contribute to software development across solution components, including clients, Portal, Proxy services, and OpenBao-based key management services. 
  • Design, implement, test, and deploy complex extensions and configurations supporting customer-specific business processes and workflows. 
  • Apply software development best practices to support the successful implementation of solution designs. 
  • Collaborate with project teams through technical communication, planning documentation, system testing, and defect resolution. 
  • Participate in project planning and project status communications. 
  • Support the development and integration of Oracle IT capabilities with third-party products and GOTS capabilities. 
  • Identify technical risks and support the development of appropriate risk mitigation strategies. 
  • Apply technical expertise to solutions operating across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required. 
  • United States citizenship required. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
    • Eight (8) years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree. 
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience with Java and JavaScript. 
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience with modern software development practices and software testing. 
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodology. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with team members and customers.


Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community environments as a contractor. 
  • Experience developing encryption libraries and key management services. 
  • Experience with encryption and an understanding of key management. 
  • Five (5) or more years of experience with REST APIs. 
  • Experience with AWS. 
  • Experience with Spring. 
  • Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). 
  • Experience with containerization and Kubernetes. 
  • Familiarity with cloud environments. 
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation skills. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to follow through on technical initiatives. 
  • Ability to work effectively within matrixed environments and collaborate with virtual teams. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and take ownership of assigned project or initiative components. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
