The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Engineering team and play a key role in building and enhancing our environmental software solutions. You will work across the full development lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deliver scalable applications that help our customers drive sustainability and operational excellence.

This is an opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies in an agile environment while contributing to products that create meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications in line with agreed requirements and technical designs.

• Collaborate with a team of software developers using Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Microsoft SQL Server.

• Contribute to the specification, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions to defined quality standards.

• Deliver software development projects independently and as part of agile, distributed development teams.

• Build and maintain scalable APIs, web applications, and backend services.

• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software development.

• Create and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality, reliable software.

• Work closely with Product, QA, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Provide project updates and technical input to senior stakeholders when required.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across development processes, tools, and technologies.

Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Web API development.

• Solid knowledge of Angular and modern front-end development practices.

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimisation.

• Good understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and responsive web development principles.

• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.

• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and software engineering best practices.

• Familiarity with design patterns and SOLID principles.

• Experience implementing web application security and secure coding standards.

• Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.

• Exposure to cloud technologies and modern development methodologies is advantageous.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5–10 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to build strong working relationships across technical and non-technical teams.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• A passion for creating high-quality software and exceptional user experiences.

• Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
