Key Responsibilities
- Working within an Agile Development team developing new features across our Suite of products.
- Working with Product Managers, Business Analysts and Test Engineers to ensure features are delivered to a high standard.
- Working closely with Team Leader, Senior Developers and R&D department to build a well-architected solution.
- Contributing to work on the Sprint backlog, reviewing user stories and estimates to understand the desired outcomes.
- Ensuring the codebase is well understood and documented.
- Contributing to the Development Team’s working practices and technology decisions.
- Working independently whilst managing time and priorities of the workload.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 6+ years’ experience in developing enterprise applications using .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, REST API and C#.
- Experience with developing web applications with service-oriented framework, Microservices and Rest APIs.
- Database development experience in MySQL, MS SQL or PostgreSQL with the ability to write SQL scripts.
- Understanding of build processes, continuous integration, and delivery
- Experience writing unit tests.
- Experience implementing .NET programming best practices.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
