Introduction:

Dashlane is looking to hire a Senior SDET to join our Quality Tooling team and be a top contributor to our tooling efforts. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be essential in defining and developing advanced tooling for web applications to meet the organisation's evolving needs. You'll be joining our Platform domain with the mission of enhancing our framework’s experience, collaborating closely with stakeholders across Dashlane and providing technical expertise and guidance to elevate our application quality standards.

Location:

You will be based in Lisbon, with English as your working language. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, with Tuesday being the company day, where we all collaborate in the office and have a company-sponsored meal, a department day for team bonding (will be Thursday for your department), and a third day at your choice. We offer relocation support (national and international).

At Dashlane you will:

  • Design and maintain advanced testing frameworks and tools that guide all our developers.

  • Lead the creation and enhancement of test automation strategies to enable efficient, repeatable and scalable testing processes.

  • Work closely with other Platform teams to understand the testing experience for developers and provide technical guidance.

  • Develop strategies and tooling to scale the release pipeline for web platforms, focusing on speed and reliability of deployments.

  • Mentor junior SDETs to elevate their technical skills and testing capabilities.

  • Establish, document, and enforce quality standards, best practices, and testing processes across the team to drive continuous improvement in our quality tooling

  • Develop reporting mechanisms and dashboards to monitor and analyse test results, identify trends, and proactively address potential quality issues before they impact the product.

  • Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools and technologies to continuously improve our tools and technology to keep up with our developer needs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation.

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java or C#, with the ability to write clean, efficient and maintainable code.

  • 2+ years experience pairing with other developers using TDD.

  • Experience with building monitoring systems and comfortable using a variety of observability stacks

  • Fluency in English

We're Also Looking For:

  • You are someone who can operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams and multiple timezones, and navigate technical ambiguity with only high-level direction.

  • You are highly collaborative and focused on building relationships across all departments.

  • You are metrics-driven and have a keen interest in developer experience.

  • Easily build relationships with the different players in the tech area, at different levels of the organisation

  • Track record of building tools that tangibly impact the developer experience
